The Power Heater Gauntlet Mitt is designed for skiers who don’t want to let frozen fingers ruin a good day on the slopes. HEATING TIME: Low: 10 hours, Medium: 5 hours, High: 2.5 hours. *NB: At highest power, the heat in the panels is close to body temperature, supporting the hand’s own warmth – they will therefore not feel ‘hot’ when you put the glove on. It is this supporting warmth combined with the insulation in the glove that helps to keep the fingers warm. The right size is important to ensure the heated panels work properly. Too big a glove will mean a greater distance between the heated panels and the fingertips, thus reducing the heating capacity. If you have a very narrow hand, you should consider going down a size. An alternative option is to use a heated liner combined with a traditional ski glove. You can test the heating function by fully charging the batteries and turning the heating system to its highest setting. After a few minutes, put on the gloves and all your fingers should feel distinctly warm. Keep the heated panels on at the highest setting and check that the heating system’s LEDs remain lit for about 2–2.5 hours (applies to 4000 mAh battery pack).

Ergo Grip Race Cut is a close-fitting cross country and cycling glove. Ergo Grip is a patented design in which the seams are positioned to optimise the flexibility of the fingers, with the minimum possible surplus fabric in the palm. This helps ensure fantastic grip and sensitivity around ski poles or handlebars. The glove has Lycra on the backhand and stretch polyester on the palm. Fleece nose wipe on thumb and touchscreen-friendly material on the middle and index fingers for a firm grip on the brakes. Colour 100930 is Johannes Høsflot Klæbo’s official competition glove.

The Hestra Bike Long Sr. is a breathable cycling glove for all XC can throw at it in spring and summer. Sewn in Clarino, a synthetic material with a suede feel that provides good handlebar grip. A thin, soft liner that acts as an extra warming liner under a base glove in colder winter weather. Sewn in a practical mix of merino wool and polyamide where the wool is warming even when damp and the synthetic material adds extra durability. This makes this liner a more hardwearing alternative to Hestra’s thin, fine Merino Wool Liner.

Hestra Leather Balm is specifically produced for sports and ski gloves and prevents leather drying out so it lasts longer. The product contains natural ingredients known for their softening and preservative properties: beeswax, lanolin, carnauba wax and neatsfoot oil. The Leather Balm also makes the leather more water-resistant. USE: Apply with a polishing cloth or rag. Rub in a small amount and repeat until leather is saturated. Test on a small patch before rubbing into the whole glove. Light leather may darken somewhat. REMEMBER: We recommend only using Leather Balm on sports gloves made from goatskin and cowhide. Do not use Leather Balm on deerskin, elk leather, hairsheep leather, peccary or carpincho leather. These leathers are not as absorbent and may become sticky and mottled.
