IMPACT STRENGTH Taking their time and diving deep into testing, We Are One came up with the perfect balance of weight, strength and ride feel. Drawing on all of their data from Union 29 and Union 27.5 rims, WAO built a new test protocol and focused on single-wall impact failures. They introduced a new ZRT material from Boston Materials and placed it in critical areas. We Are One completely redesigned the layup of each rim from the ground up, changing all possible orientations, angles, and processes. The result is a 29 and 27.5 rim with 32% improved impact strength over their Union rims. INTERFACE Traditionally, the interface of where the nipple sits in the rim has never been ideal. The Convergence's external shape drives the internal profile. With 7.5° alternating faces, when drilled, it gives the nipple the perfect perpendicular angle with no point loading. This feature improves fatigue on the nipples and spokes, providing unrivaled durability and prolonged service intervals.

The Revolution Rims are laced to an Industry Nine 1/1 hub front and rear. The Revolution line of rims has been in development since June of 2018. The basis of the whole program was to round out a complete rim offering, while implementing all that we learned about THE MOVEMENT line of rims. They've said it before and they'll will say it again, not all carbon rims are made the same way. We Are One developed an entirely new moulding process that improves our layup process and accuracy. The Revolution mould process allows for even more precise fibre placement and extension than our previous designs. Each rim is handlaid right here in Kamloops, BC! The Revolution rim shape allowed We Are One to reduce radial stiffness and utilize less fibre while increasing impact strength. The shape, combined with the layup, offers a more homogenous system and provides more support to each component of the rim than ever before. We Are One is excited to present you our Revolution line up! Here at We Are One, we are the first manufacturer to bring transparency to the process and products. Our unmatched quality and precise tolerances allow us to make the best carbon rims on the market. Period. Hand-laying each rim in Kamloops, BC allows us to have a unique layup process developed in-house. This makes for precise fibre placement, giving no fibre drift or bridging during layup. This process ensures that all our fibre strands are under correct elongation and are carrying the loads they should. All of our rims are perfect out of the mold. We do not sand, fill, paint, or doctor any of our products. Each rim is assigned a unique serial number that is tracked and assembled by one of our layup staff. Our team takes great care and pride with producing the best rims possible.

Featuring Infinity hubs, ID360 freewheel and Maxtal welded rims, this modern XC wheel lives up to the legendary Crossmax name: strong, reliable, and tubeless ready. The name Crossmax has a long history in the world of XC riding and racing and this new wheelset lives up to its name with many of the same features and technologies as pro-level XC race wheels, but at a far more attainable price. One of the key factors is our UST technology, which allows for easy setup of tubeless ready tires and gives you all the associated benefits including better traction and control, a smoother ride quality and a reduced risk of punctures. The rim is welded for added reliability and features a 25mm internal width with a hookless profile. The Infinity hub design optimizes lateral stiffness and spokes tension. Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet system provides fast engagement and top-level reliability. The rear hub is compatible with Shimano HG9, Micro Spline and SRAM XD driver bodies. The Crossmax is available with 6-bolt or center lock brake mounts in 29" and 27", in Boost and non-Boost options. The wheel is delivered with valves, replacement spokes and accessories.

It represents the highest quality aluminum trail wheel we've ever built. The rims are made with our patented Fore technology, which features a fully sealed upper bridge that eliminates the need for rim tape. That saves 30 grams per wheel and does away with the hassle of using tape to set up tubeless tires. The rim has a 30mm internal width, perfect for optimizing the performance of any modern trail tire. It's engineered with a super strong triangular shape, designed specifically to absorb impacts from the trail. Our Black Shield technology gives them a distinctive finish that protects against scratches and abrasions. We use 24 straight-pull spokes to further dial in the sweet spot between lateral stiffness and vertical compliance. The Infinity hubs feature a stiffer and lighter construction that's enhanced by the ultra-reliable ID360 double ratchet system for fast engagement. The wheelset is set up for 6-bolt or center lock disc mounts and is compatible with Shimano HG9, SRAM XD, and Micro Spline freewheel bodies. It's available in either 27.5" or 29" and ships with UST tubeless valves, spare spokes and accessories.
